Choosing to homeschool your children is not an easy decision for many. It requires sacrifice, selflessness, commitment, and requires vision for what can be. Homeschool is truly holy work. Deuteronomy 6:5-17 commands,
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
God calls us as parents to rise up and do our duty in raising our children. I remember when I first began homeschooling 22 years ago I thought that school had to look like the public education system and I put academia in a box. The older I became the more I realized that I had made an idol out of academics and that I needed to lighten up and spend more energy devoted to building the relationships God had put in my life and valuing real biblical community. This is when I began to realize that my every day, all day life was truly more educational and forming of my children than anything. Homeschool is holy work.
This 6 panel Richardson white baseball cap fits so nice and is high quality with a adjustable fabric tightening strap on the back. The verse Deut. 6:5-7 is embrodered on the side of the hat for remembrance and the lettering is also embroidered over foam for a 3D effect! It's a pretty rad hat!
